| |  | | Julia, is the sole owner of ADOPTIONS BY JULIA CHILDERS, PH.D, LCSW. Her husband William
is the Financial Director of the agency and has volunteered his time along side of Julia for over 10 years in her efforts
to save children and preserve families. Julia and William are Christians and promote Christianity as the foundation of their
agency. Julia is a graduate of Anderson Baptist College and a three-time graduate of Clemson University. Julia has degrees
in Elementary Education, Secondary Education and Psychology. She has a Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance Services.
She has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is a NC licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychologist. Julia has worked
for the SC and NC Department of Social Services for over 12 years. She has worked in the child abuse units preserving families,
protecting children, and managing foster care and moving children forward to adoption. ---and forever families. In NC, Julia
developed therapeutic programs for Children of Alcoholics in Foster Care. She also developed counseling programs for children
who were victims of domestic violence. In the NC Court System, Julia has been designated an expert witness in the field of
child sexual abuse and child custody issues and testified on the behalf of many children. Julia served as a Guardian Ad Litem
for children in NC. As a former employee of the NC Department of Social Services, Julia understands the full legal issues
surrounding adoption and is able to assist children and families in achieving their adoption goals.
Julia's agency
"ADOPTIONS" known as Childers Adoption Agency in their community sponsors girls softball and basketball teams, boys
baseball and basketball teams. Julia and her husband William were honored by a local Elementary School for their generous
giving to the students there. Julia also provides medical social work services and special education consulting. She is also
a volunteer with her community Hospice organization and promotes cancer awareness. Julia also is presently volunteering on
a local teen pregnancy home project in her County.
